Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BoatSafely101.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The Service

BoatSafely101 provides an online boater safety course and exam designed to meet Florida boater safety education requirements. Course access is granted upon payment of the $13.95 fee and remains valid for 30 days from purchase.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering. One account per person.

Payment and Refunds

The course fee is $13.95. Payments are processed by PayPal. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you have not yet started the exam. Contact support@boatsafely101.com for refund requests.

Certificate

Upon passing the exam (76% or higher), you may download a PDF certificate of completion. The certificate is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. BoatSafely101 makes reasonable efforts to align with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) requirements but does not guarantee acceptance for any specific purpose; please verify current requirements with the FWC.

Acceptable Use

Do not share your account or course content with others
Do not attempt to copy, scrape, or redistribute course materials
Do not interfere with the service or attempt to bypass exam security

Vendor / Affiliate Program

If you sign up as a vendor, separate vendor terms apply, including commission rates, payout schedules, and compliance with applicable tax-reporting laws. Misuse of the affiliate program (e.g., self-referrals, spam) may result in account termination and forfeiture of pending commissions.

Disclaimer

The course is provided "as is." BoatSafely101 is not responsible for boating accidents, injuries, or property damage. Boaters are solely responsible for their own safety and compliance with all applicable laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoatSafely101's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the course.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
